Exactly half the size of our A4 Booklets and Brochures, our A5 sized booklets are more than big enough to make your images pop, yet small enough so that people can easily take them home from an event or training exercise.
Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of space to include your USPs and core information. Our portable A5 Stapled Brochures are designed for referring back to after attending events such as university discovery days, staff inductions, promoting services to businesses, and much more.
How do I decide the print settings I need?
Once you’ve decided that A5 Stapled Brochure printing is for you, then you just need to select your print options, which are explained below for ease:
What are printed pages?
Choose how many pages you would like your printed booklet or brochure to contain. We count the front cover as page one, then inside cover page2, continuing to the back cover.
Cover Upgrade
To give your booklet a lux feel, opt for a weighted gloss or matt laminate front cover. This helps your printed materials to stand out so is especially useful if you expect to be competing against other organisations for attention.
Weight
The weight of paper is measured in gsm. The lower the number the lighter the paper, and the higher the number weightier or thicker the paper.
Quantity
Simply tell us how many copies of your A5 stapled brochure you require.
How Do I Upload my Booklet or Brochure Design?
We’ve made it quick and easy to send us your design. Upload a PDF file with a minimum 300dpi resolution and a 3mm bleed area on all edges. Don’t have a graphic designer? We also have a selection of free blank artwork templates (see links above in the help bar) which you can download with the correct print bleed area and safe zones already included.

Paper thickness: Measured in gsm (grams per square metre). Higher gsm is thicker and stiffer — lighter stocks suit handouts, heavier ones suit cards that need to feel substantial.
Cover Upgrade: Print the outer cover on a heavier stock than the inside pages, so the booklet feels sturdier and resists curling.
Printed Pages: The total number of printed sides, counting front and back of every sheet. A folded A4 sheet gives 4 pages.
